About This Site This site was created by the active members of The Fraternity. A lot of chapters use third parties to create or manage their sites for them, but these options can be a bit expensive. If you are looking for a site of your own, you can check out chaptercommunications.com. This company was actually started by former Pikes. They do more Greek websites than anyone and have lots of great features to help your chapter. If you have used the greek family tree or greek community applications on facebook, then you have already used some of this company's great stuff. The biggest drawback to Chapter Communications for us was that there is a significant cost each semester, and we are a relatively young chapter who pays for everything ourselves, so we like to stretch our resources. We built this site to be easily edited without knowledge of html or any other coding stuff so that it could be easily edited by future generations of Pikes. If you are a Pike from another chapter or a Sorority at SJSU, and want help setting up your own site like ours, we are more than happy to share ours with you. You can e-mail our webmaster and they will do what they can to help. And, if you're an alumni, please take the time to think about the tens (hundreds) of hours that were poured into this project. |
