Scholarship
Pi Kappa Alpha realizes that students enroll in college, first and foremost, to get an education and to improve their futures. Consistent with this philosophy, Pike places a high importance on scholarship and educating our members on all aspects of life. Here at San Jose State University, Pike understands the need for a good academic environment to achieve quality grades and scholastic growth. Pi Kappa Alpha provides for many of its members, the opportunity to better one's grades through mentoring programs, study hours, and educational scholarships. In 2007, the Interfraternity Council, Pi Kappa Alpha's governing body on SJSU, achieved the highest cumulative GPA; being above all men's and all person university average. The scholastic efforts from Pike and San Jose State’s Greek community are becoming truly apparent at SJSU. While delivering a college experience like no other, being Greek at San Jose State helps provide students an education and foundation for their future endeavors following college.
