Pi Kappa Alpha is constantly striving to be the best scholars, leaders, athletes, and gentlemen, and nothing better exemplifies this than our members who participate in the University's sports teams.

This year, Pikes continue to run (literally) the school's water polo team, as headed by John "Polo" Wagner. Other members on the polo team this season are Sean McDonough, Steve Eckford, Collin McDonough, Wes Gage, Brett Butler, Chris Channel, and John LoFranco.

The Pikes have also taken a firm grasp over SJSU's rugby team. Player's from the chapter include Nick Catteneo, Jon Pachett, Nick Reed, Matt Adgar, and Mike Veal.

Phi Ball Champions (2008)

Pikes won Alpha Phi Sororities annual volleyball tournament for the second year in a row.  Congratulations to the players, and thanks to Alpha Phi for hosting the great event, which raises money to support cardiac care and research.

Intramural Dodgeball Champions x2 (Spring 2007)

Pikes won both the IFC and Open-Campus Leagues this semester.

The IFC league team was undefeated going into the semifinal round, but unfortunately lost and had to work its way back through the loser bracket. In back-to-back-to-back games, the team defeated Kappa Sigma, and then two consecutive matches against Delta Upsilon. the first of those two, Pikes won handily in four games to one, but the second (Championship Match) went to the very final game of seven. The match ended in a dramatic one-on-one show down, with Ryan Black (Fall '07) taking home the final victory.

The Open-League team went undefated through the entire tournament and took home the championship with much less excitement. But, we'll take it.

Pike Football (Fall 2007)

This semester brought on another great semester in Pike Team football. The team went undefeated through the regular season and the playoffs, but unfortunately lost the championship game. Here are the scores from our games (in order played):

Don't worry, though, as we will be back to win next year.
